Lot of happy memories here as a kid, adolescent, teen, and adult. It was videos, but also books, magazines, coffee, posters, novelty toys, and music. It was only a matter of time before Amazon, Netflix, and the digital age in general did Hastings in. I think Barnes and Noble is next. Still, it makes me sad because it was such a cool place to hang.
Wow. That business was killed by the Internet! The only thing that might have saved them would have been becoming a Starbucks!
